Board meeting coming up next month

SCHOA will hold its general meeting next month. The tentative date is Tues Feb 21.
We will be holding elections for officers, voting on the budget and all the other
exciting stuff we normally do. The office of President is officially up for grabs
so sharpen your debate skills and form your super PAC. We will send out an agenda
closer to the date of the meeting. If you have any concerns or comments you are
welcome to voice them as well.

Invoices being delivered

Keep on the lookout for the invoices from the SCHOA. They should be delivered early
February. Those dues go almost exclusively toward maintaining the neighborhood entrances.
We had great participation this past year and we hope that will continue.

Peachtree Corners City Council Stuff

You may have heard we are a city now. There is a city council election coming up on
Tuesday March 6 (Georgia Primary day). See the below article to find out more about
the election and upcoming candidate forums. You are in District 2. You can find Q&A
with the various candidates on the Peachtree Corners Patch website.

This November Peachtree Corners residents will be voting on two important issues. One is the incorporation of Peachtree Corners and the other is the continuation of the E SPLOST (the penny sales tax that goes to education projects). The Peachtree Corners City vote is the main topic of conversation and I have listed websites that support Yes and No votes. I suggest you take as much time to look at the E SPLOST projects list (none of our schools are listed) and read the what the opposition has to say about how Gwinnett's school board spends the money.
